Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a Chief flight attendant based at our corporate headquarters in Cincinnati Ohio. This position is part of the Flight Operations leadership team and serves as the highest point of contact for Flight Attendant standards.
Responsibilities
Oversee the Flight Attendant portion of the Crew Training Program.
Ensure safety, consistency and satisfactory performance of all required duties by the full managed and charter managed flight attendants as required by General Operations Manual (GOM), Director of Operations and EJM policies.
Collaborate with Human Resources and Owner Services on Flight Attendant candidates, review resumes, interview candidates and ensure staffing selections are appropriate for the account assigned as well as EJM standards. Ensures day to day staffing levels specifically designed to meet operational program needs.
Review, incorporate and ensure compliance with FAA regulations and participate in FAA discussions on the administration of training and management of Cabin Assistants and Part 135 Flight Attendants. Submit necessary program documentation for approval. Liaises with HR, Owner Services, and Charter in matters pertaining to FA personnel issues.
Recommend and approve merit and bonus increases for flight attendants. Investigate and document performance issues, recommend solutions, follow up on crew resource management issues as necessary.
Requirements
Minimum of six years of Aviation Management Experience
Knowledge of FAA Regulations and Cabin Safety and Service Procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, iJet or a similar aviation system
Familiarity with project management software
Familiarity with professional level records and training software
Strong organizational skills
Strong communication skills (written and verbal
Experience as a corporate Flight Attendant
Experience hiring, coaching, disciplining and terminating employees
Experience conducting flight attendant training
This position will travel 50% of the time.
