Sonesta Fort Lauderdale Beach sits directly on the sand at 999 North Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard, about a mile from Las Olas Boulevard and a short walk from Bonnet House and Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. Rooms and junior suites face the ocean.
Steelpan, the beachfront restaurant, serves Caribbean American food from breakfast through dinner, with a beach market off the lobby for anything quicker. There is a year round outdoor pool with a sundeck and a seasonal pool bar, a 24 hour fitness center, a 24 hour business center, and more than 10,000 square feet of event space including a penthouse ballroom looking out along the Atlantic.

Check in is 4:00 PM and check out is 11:00 AM. A major credit card guarantees the booking, and a cancellation needs to reach the hotel by 6:00 PM, 48 hours before arrival, to avoid a one night charge.
