BUSINESS ATTIRE: How should you dress as a Corporate Flight Attendant?
Proper uniforms for flight attendants on private aircraft are very similar to attire a commercial airline flight attendant would wear. One major difference are that they are mostly chosen by the corporate or private flight attendant themselves.
A typical classic flight attendant uniform will consist of a dark business jacket with either pants, skirt or dress. Heels should be worn that are not sharp or thin ( like do not wear stilettos or super high platforms, not safe). Thick bottom heels with non slip or almost no heel like a loafer or a mary jane shoe.
All of the aircraft you will be working are very expensive with high end decor and carpeting. Some owners do not even allow shoes to be worn at all while on board and during flight.
Your footwear should not only be attractive but should be the type which you can walk and provide service without falling or stumbling. You may on your feet for a while remember that! Stockings or panty hose are required. Do not board without wearing pantyhose if you are wearing a skirt or dress. For pants socks or knee highs will be sufficient.
Scarves: You can complement your standard uniform pieces with a variety of neck wear like scarves. Believe it or not, Amazon has a ton of inexpensive scarves, you can afford to purchase one for every day of the week.
Alternate Uniform Pieces: You may want to consider supplementing your standard uniform with additional items that can be interchangeable. A professional looking cardigan, solid. A Sweater vest to be worn over a long sleeve or short sleeve button down.
Festive or Holiday: If you like wearing blazers, you might be able to wear a red or burgundy blazer during the Christmas holidays, Please check with your employer to make sure they will allow it. But you might be able to wear small lapel pins that reflect the holidays or special occasion like Super Bowl. It is important to consider not wearing anything that could be "offensive" to your guests
Socks & Pantyhose: Is a requirement when working on board. Never be bare without wearing socks or knee highs with pants, and wearing panty hose when wearing a dress or skirt.
